Easter Sunday - March 31 2013 - Bull Run
Bull Run is at 12.00 & 16.00hrs starting at La Plazuela and ending at the end of San Miguel. Bull is released and various brave (or foolish) young men go into the street and taunt the bull - sometimes resulting in injuries.
10-14 April 2013 - Spring Feria (provisional dates)
Located on the feria ground near the La Noria area of Vejer.
Everyone in the town and surrounding area comes to this event where the partying goes on all through the night. There are funfair rides and various other entertainments including singing and dancing.
7 May 2013 - Patron Saint day (Romeria de Ntra. Sra. de la Oliva)
May 2013 (provisional) - Subida a Vejer
This is a timed hill climb with various types of rally cars on the CA5203 road - anyone who has driven that road knows what a challenge it is at a low speed! You can spectate all along the road and see all the cars parked around Plaza 7 de Mayo.
23 June 2013 - CANDELĂS DE SAN JUAN (Toro de Fuego)
10-24 August 2013 -Festival in honour of the patron saint Nstra. Senora de la Oliva
The town is absolutely buzzing during this 2 week festival. The road to Plaza de Espana is closed and the bars/restaurants bring tables out in the street. There is free entertainment in the plaza every night. There is also a funfair in Los Remedios park with various stalls along the street.
